Manage your trash

When you delete a call, email, or client in Kaizan, it moves to your personal trash folder for 30 days before being permanently removed.

When you delete a call, email, or client in Kaizan, it moves to your personal trash folder rather than being permanently removed straight away.

Deleted items stay in your trash for 30 days. After 30 days they are permanently deleted from the app. If you need something removed sooner, contact support@kaizan.ai and we'll action it.

Note: If you need data restored at the database level, we retain it for 90 days from deletion. Contact support@kaizan.ai as soon as possible if you need a restoration.

Restore a deleted item

To view and restore deleted items, open the menu panel and select Trash.

Trash has two sections:

  • Clients — deleted client folders and internal folders

  • Calls and Emails — deleted calls and emails

To restore an item:

  1. Select the relevant section.

  2. Find the item you want to restore.

  3. Select the Restore button on the right.

Restored client folders and internal folders move back to your dashboard. Restored calls and emails move back to Your Calls or Your Emails.
